Hurricane Maria Water Relief Fund

Hurricane Maria devastated the entire island of Puerto Rico.  At this time, most residents have no power, no running water, and no means of communication. The breadth of the destruction is not know and probably will not be known for weeks or months.  
   As some of you may know, I have a true love for Puerto Rico and the people who have graciously welcomed me over the last few years as I have increasingly spent more and more time on the northeast coast of La Isla Encanta. The area has captured me, and it breaks my heart to know that its people are suffering.  For those of you who do not know me, my name is Geoff Gohacki and I am a CPR,First Aid, and Safety instructor based in New York City.  
   The eastern half of the island took the brunt of the storm, wiping out most of its infrastructure.  The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to help those affected in communities such as Humacao, Rio Grande, Luquillo, Palmer, and Fajardo -  among others.  While FEMA and the government are helping with major cleanup and repair, I would like to focus on bringing water filters, first aid kits, diapers, baby food, and clean up equipment to the people of those communities.  Your funds will help purchase these products.  I will be delivering these items personally to the communities affected.  I will be covering the cost of my travel and accommodation while making the trip.  All funds used will be for supplies, and if necessary - transportation of the supplies to the island.
