Water well sadaqah jariyah for my neighbour

This pandamic has been difficult for everyone but particularly those who have lost people. This virus has shown us that life can be short and that humans are fragile. Maybe its because that we are fragile that we are able to be compassionate. We should take care of the elderly and treat our parents better because man is not made out of skin and bones rather man is made out of time, man is made out of days.
My neighbours, my friends have suffered a great loss, in the space of 2 weeks they lost their grandmother and then their father from covid. The thing thats scariest about death is not that we die. It is that our deeds are sealed and we cannot take any action, the doors of redemption close at deaths door. They say a life with regret is not a life worth living I say that if you do not regret the life you have lived then it was not one worth living as you became complacent of your transgressions.
Complacency is what will destroy man, if you do not have the quality of reflecting over your actions and learning trying to see what you could have done better, regretting your mistakes, bashfulness. Then you can do whatever you please and find a way to justify it.
Among what has reached the people from the words of the first prophethood: If you are not bashful, then do as you wish." [Saheeh Al-Jami‘]
Its not that we sin, its that we get back up turn back and repent sincerely.
“Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.”
Sicere repentance starts with uttering the words and its a promise to actovely try to leave behind a sin. Asking for forgiveness without abandoning the sin is the repentance of a liar.
We are taught that one of the attributes of our lord is the most merciful, what encapsulates that more than the concept of sadaqah jariyah? Good deeds that arrive after death.
There are a few deeds that benefit those who have passed, the good deeds of the children of the deceased, sadaqah jariyah, and knowledge that provides benefit.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)
I want to help raise funds to build a water well in their name ia it will be accepted.
Grandmother and father, Mother and son, Fatema Khanam, and Mashuk Chowdhury.
Ia we can build more but at least 1 ia so they may benefit from it and so it may also provide benefit for the believers. Ideally ia we will raise 1 each with a target of £500.
We reached the target and exceeded ia lets push to 4, 5,6, 7 or even 10. There is always someone who will benefit from water ia

On the authority of Sa‘d bin ’Ubadah that he said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Umm (mother of) Sa‘d has died, so which charity is best?’ He (saw) replied, ‘[Providing] water’. He (ra) said, ‘So [Sa’d] dug a well and said, “This (well) is for Umm Sa‘d”’. [Abu Dawud]
Allah says in the Qur’an, ‘By means of water, we give life to everything’. (Qur’an, 21:30)
ALLAH TELLS US THAT “IF ANYONE SAVED A LIFE IT WOULD BE AS IF HE SAVED THE LIFE OF THE WHOLE HUMANITY.” QURAN 5:32
Sadaqah can be a means of forgiveness.
Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, ‘A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that’. [Bukhari]
Death is a reminder to those who are mindful. Let us try changing our ways to be better children so our parents may benefit and so that we too may benefit. Maybe if we help now when it is our time someone will do the same for us.
