I started <a href="https://www.instagram.com/waterschool_/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Water School</strong></a> last summer, which was an experiment born from <a href="https://www.worksonwater.org/projects/yucca-learning-from-wetlands" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">my participation</a> in a group residency called <strong>#</strong><a href="https://www.worksonwater.org/events/tending-the-edge" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>TendingtheEdge</strong></a>, a collaboration between<strong> </strong><a href="https://www.worksonwater.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Works on Water</strong></a>, <a href="https://www.culturepush.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Culture Push</strong></a><strong> </strong>and the <a href="https://www.waterfrontplan.nyc/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Department of City Planning</strong></a>.

<div>The school is still very much in the early stages, but I hope to raise $6,000 (and more!) for virtual and in-person programming in <strong>New York City</strong> and <strong>upstate New York</strong>, as well as in the <strong>Colorado River Basin </strong>in 2023. Your support will be greatly appreciated, as the money will go toward paying local presenters/facilitators, 2023 Water School co-stewards, access doulas, event documentation and an organizing stipend for myself.
