Help Us Build a Water Well in Ethiopia.

We are two Muslim Sisters from Switzerland who personally know an Ethiopian woman who is employed outside of the country. She is one of the most kind-hearted and grateful people in the world, and she told us the following story about her 55-year-old mother and the village where she lives in Ethiopia.

Every day, her mother over 55 years of age walks more than half an hour in the harsh heat, all to fetch a single vessel of water for her family.

This is her reality, but with your help, it doesn’t have to be. We're on a mission to change this story—one well at a time.

By building a water well for this family, we can offer them the gift of clean, accessible water right at their doorstep.

When we told the daughter that we would collect money for the well for her mother, she said that we should rather spend the money on the mosque that is being built nearby so that people can do their ablution.

We were so touched by this that we decided to collect money for both!

The money is given directly to the daughter of this 55-year-old mother, and she uses it to pay for the construction of the well, as well as the installation of water in the mosque.
