Watchmen For Winston

Will you help us in a hopefully fast campaign to set roots for a brand new Watchmen of The Streets ministry in Winston-Salem, NC? We just need a $5,000 kick start outside of what we bring in from regular giving and budget. This is simply an amazing opportunity to sow seeds in something that we know will grow fairly quickly. We have started in Winston by locating multiple homeless encampments and communities as we build relationships with those we meet. This $5,000 kickstart money will go directly to pay for a storage unit for the first year for supplies, print out resource sheets to hand to those in need that direct them to things like meals, housing lists, free med care, clothes, drug rehab, etc. and help us start off with the inventory of items like toiletries, food, tents, sleeping bags, drinking water, socks, etc. for survival on the streets. In the event we raise more than $5,000 outside of our regular needs and operating budget then overage will go to the support of the overall Watchmen of The Streets ministry servicing all areas as well as areas most needed within Habit Missions. We hope to have a full storage unit stocked and ready with established routes and volunteers ready to serve the homeless in the Winston-Salem area with volunteer opportunities on a new level.
