Help prepare for twin’s funeral and other expenses
Donation protected
Hello everyone. We are the Watsons: Connie, Andre, and our 4-yr-old, Evie.
When we first discovered we were pregnant, and then found out it was twins, we were overjoyed. Nervous and scared, of course, but excited as well.
We finally got used to the fact that we’d soon be bringing two bundles of joy home, when the OB sent me (Connie) to the high risk specialist to check for anencephaly in one of the twins.
The day that anencephaly was confirmed for Baby B was a dark day. I cried in the exam room, the entire drive home, and then for most of the evening, wrapped in Andre and Evie’s loving arms.
For those who don’t know, anencephaly is a very serious birth defect, known as a neural tube defect. Basically, the skull and scalp didn’t form all the way, leaving the brain matter open. This is a fatal condition and Baby B will pass shortly after birth.
Then in February 3rd we were told that Jordan, baby A, no longer has a heartbeat. So now we will deliver a stillborn baby and a baby that isn’t expected to live long outside the womb.
We need funds for funeral and memorial costs, as well as bills or other expenses. Anything over the asked amount will be donated to help other families going through similar struggles
Even if you can only donate $1, $5, $10, or if all you’re able to do is share our fundraiser with others, we appreciate your support.
