Washington DC March for Life Trip

I am writing to make you aware of an opportunity that I have been presented with that I would love to have the privilege to participate in.  From January 16-19, a group from Prestonwood will be traveling to Washington DC to participate in the March for Life rally.  The trip is coordinated and led by several of the staff and board members of the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center.  This is a ministry that is very near and dear to my heart.  When I first heard of this trip last year, I felt I strong calling that I needed to participate.  As you all know, I was faced with an unplanned pregnancy in the Fall of 2013.  What many of you may not be aware of, is that I highly considered having an abortion.  Even to the point of attending an appointment at what I thought was an abortion clinic.  Only by the grace of God, I ended up at a crisis pregnancy center (right next door to the abortion clinic) very similar to Prestonwood’s.  It was here that I made the decision for LIFE, and now have one of the biggest, tangible blessings in my life, my 4 year old daughter, Olivia Grace.  If my story can change one woman’s choice for life, then I have done my job.  If I can march on the streets of our nation’s capitol for something as important as this, I want my voice to be heard!  This is where I am asking for your help.  The travel cost and expenses for this trip are estimated to be near $1500.  I am asking you to prayerfully consider helping me make my passion a reality.  Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.  Should any monies be raised over this amount, I am planning on donating directly to the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center.  So many of you have already been such a source of support and encouragement throughout my entire pregnancy and through raising Olivia.  For this, I am eternally grateful.  I ask that everyone please pray for me as the Lord prepares my heart for this opportunity and for any conversations I may enter or individuals I may encounter.  Thank you so much for your love and support!
