Lachlan's Medical Expenses Fund

Lachlan(warrior) Grant Rivers arrived on December 27th, 2017.  Scott & Care were instantly in love with their little boy! As most of you are aware, Lachlan was flown to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto where he was diagnosed with Giant Congenital Melanocytic Nevus/nevi.
He is doing great but will require frequent visits at Sick Kids over the next several months/years to monitor his condition closely ie: MRIs, biopsies etc. 
In addition to travelling expenses, there are current costs associated with a "lesion" or wound on Lachlan's little bum. They are having to purchase medical supplies which are not covered by their benefits.  We have written to some companies in hopes of them donating some products & did receive some coupons :)  

What has had the most impact financially is that Scott was unable to work in the first few weeks because of the initial visits at Sick Kids. Unfortunately he does not get paid for missed shifts.

We are not sure what interventions Lachlan will need moving forward but we would like to have funds available to them to ease the stress of future expenses. 

Lastly, we feel it is important to mention that Scott & Care have not asked us to set up this fund. We would like to gift it to them in hopes of eliminiating even a small bit of worry...
