Help Ava Louise beat brain Cancer

Over the last several days we have received by far the worst news of our lives. Our 4 year old daughter has a brain tumor. She received multiple MRI scans to assess how bad the tumor was and if it had spread. Unfortunately the tumor had spread to her spine. After 16 hours and 38min of being in surgery to remove the brainstem tumor Ava was assessed again vis a MRI scan and we were told they entire tumor was removed YAY!!! great news, which was shortly followed by another tough pill to swallow.
Ava has medulloblastoma , one of the most common pediatric brain tumors. Fortunately she is 4 which increases her odds, unfortunately we received a tough prognosis because the tumor had spread. Ava will have a tough couple of weeks ahead of her recovering from the brain surgery which will be followed immediately by 6 weeks of daily radiation.
We are still waiting on the biopsy to come back. The biopsy will tell up which type of medulloblastoma she has. Then we can discuss the treatments options with chemo. Right now we are looking at possibly being able to do all treatment locally, but there is a possibility we will have to do transplant chemo, which is a extreme high dose of chemo and that will have to be administered down at Mayo.
I am hoping to stay local as it will be easier for me to continue working as much as possible and it will help Erik and I keep Life as normal as possible for Avas 2.5 year old brother Alijah.
Ava needs as  much physical and emotional support from family as possible to insure she is comfortable with treatment and not scared. We need to be confident in her medical team so far they have been nothing short of amazing!!
Inevitably we will have severe wage loss as we sit next to our baby girl and cheer her on, Its very hard for me to ask for help, I have had such pride in being a completely independent single mom for so long, but I have realized at a time like this we need to be able to accept help from others so we can concentrate on giving Ava the emotional and physical support she needs to beat this.
I will be updating Avas caring bridge site as often as possible as new things come up, I appreciate all the text/ calls I have received from concerned family thus far but I must say I will be stepping away from my phone as much as possible to concentrate on my warrior princess Ava Louise.

Much Love,
Ashley and Erik
