Warrior Mochi

Hi there friends and family,
We are reaching out for your help!
As many of you know we adopted two beautiful kitties in October.
Shortly after having them Mochi was showing symptoms of an upper-respiratory infection. We got him on medication, but it didn’t seem to be helping. Then we noticed that his abdomen was enlarged and thought he had parasites, unfortunately that was not the case. We brought him to Urgent Care who said his symptoms are indicative of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a potentially fatal disease. We got a second opinion at our vet, who said we should bring him home for his final days.
We reached out to the shelter who has been extremely helpful in helping us get treatment for Mochi to save his life. We started him on a journey of medication on Tuesday. The shelter is helping us raise money for the treatment. We are looking for help with the veterinary bills (bloodwork, stool samples, exams, etc) the medical supplies (needles, syringes, alcohol wipes, vitamins/supplements, etc)
Any amount will help us to save Mochi’s life. We are only 6 days into a 84 day treatment plan, and he is already showing great progress.
Any funds raised that we don’t use towards Mochi’s treatment will go straight to Second Chance Shelter for Cats in Jamaica Plain. They have been amazingly supportive from the day we adopted the boys to now needing help keep them alive.
Total goal 2,500 - adjustments made for funds acquired outside of GoFundMe
