Thank you for taking the time to visit the Warren County High School Basketball program's go fund me page. My name is Toriano McRae Jr and I am currently in my second year of teaching and coaching. On January 14th, our basketball team was on the losing end of a 103 point defeat, setting an NC high school state record. After the loss, Mr. Andrew Carter of the News & Observer in Raleigh, reached out and asked for the opportunity to cover this group of young men. However, not to focus on the loss but to bring perspective to what some of the student-athletes are facing on a daily basis. Please take a moment to read the article and watch the video. You can find the link posted above. The response has been overwhelming and many feel it is in the teams best interest to start a fundraiser.
