Thank you all for your great support. Our campaign ended a few weeks back but unfortunately we have run into some frustrating technical issues which has resulted in all donors being refunded their donation.
All donors should have received an email confirming that your donation has been returned back into your bank account. This is obviously a nightmare for us and we're trying our hardest to reach out to everyone in the hope you can return your donation back to the campaign.
We appreciate this is a lot of hassle for you guys and sorry to take up more of your time.

This is founder Aidan Doherty speaking openly and honestly you all.
Firstly, thank you so much to all those who have donated their festival tickets as well as those who have kept their tickets for 2021. Your support means everything to us right now and dramatically helps us towards overcoming these challenging times. However, we do still have a long way to go before we see light at the end of tunnel.
In 7 years of running Warm Up, we hope you’ll agree that we’ve created lots of memorable moments and unforgettable times that we’ll all cherish for the rest of our lives. What’s incredibly special about this community is the sense of friendship that prevails, you will always feel connected and a part of something special while in our home. Our passion has always been about bringing people together in a welcoming and inclusive space and we are proud to be able to say we have delivered this consistently now for many years. We’re also happy to say we’ve never needed to reach out for help in all of this time, but sadly we find ourselves in a position that threatens the future of Warm Up Festival.
Why have we set up a Go Fund Me ?
Putting on our year one, fully independent festival, has so far taken us one year and three months of hard work, planning and financial investment. The complex process of cancelling and rescheduling a year one festival is particularly daunting, but to do this without having pandemic cancellation insurance means we now face the challenging task of recovering the irretrievable money lost, so that we can deliver next years show. So far our irrecoverable losses amount to £30,000, including costs such as licensing, insurance, production, event management planning, the list goes on. Under any normal cancellation circumstance these losses would have been covered by our insurance.
Asking for your support in this way hasn’t been without thoughtful consideration. We understand the wider world is experiencing a lot of trauma and hardship at this time, but if we don’t ask for help then you won’t know that we need it. If you are able to donate, not matter how big or small, you will be helping to secure the bright future of this magical festival for years to come, one built on community values and emotive musical experiences.
Anyone who donates £50 or more will automatically be entered into a prize draw for 2 Warm Up Festival 2021 tickets, including a full weekends boutique camping for two, worth £830. If 200 of you lovely people donate £50 that’s already a third of the £30,000 loss covered, which will massively help us move towards our goal and put the 2020 year loss behind us.
A Bonus Prize.
If we do reach that magical £30,000 target by the 21st August, when the gates of the first Warm Up Festival would have been opening, as a thank you for your kindness and support I will play a 24hr DJ set, live and direct via Twitch. I will also share the entire track listing after the set. It will certainly be a test of endurance! But, one I'm excited about potentially taking on.
We intend to do whatever it takes to keep our dream alive and to play our part in keeping the important independent events industry thriving at a time when we’ll need it the most. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing our GoFundMe campaign through your socials would mean a lot to us.
