Hello! We are a group of UNT students passionate about addressing food insecurity, housing instability, and transportation barriers in our local community. Through our project, Warm Plate, we are partnering with Interfaith Ministries of Denton, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing short-term assistance to individuals and families in need.
Your generous donations will directly support Interfaith Ministries in their crucial work by:
-Providing essential resources such as food, shelter, and clothing to individuals and families experiencing hardship
-Offering guidance and support services to help people regain stability and move forward
-Supplying hygiene items and access to medication
-Assisting with transportation as funding allows

Did you know that homelessness and food scarcity is most experienced by students and the employed? 40 to 60% of homeless Americans have a job. This means it can happen to anyone and is not something to be judged. Instead, we can come together as a community.
We surveyed local citizens and learned another challenge they are experiencing is lack of transportation which can lead to lack of access to fresh produce. We are grateful that Interfaith Ministries assist with transportation as funding allows,
