Hello, my grandmother is nearly 80 years old and living on an extremely tight fixed income. She recently received a $600+ electric bill. This prompted her to have someone come out and do an inspection, where they found that a lot of work had been done improperly when her washing machine flooded a few years ago. Her air ducts were cut into and left open, so her furnace and heat pump have been damaged to the point where it is running continuously and not producing heat. She was told it will cost over $8,000 to fix the furnace and heat pump.

She does not have the means to come up with this money, nor do we, so we’re asking for your generosity so that she can get her heat fixed and get a lower electricity bill.
