Warm bed, hot food for friends in need

I met a couple this morning who have been sleeping outside in a tent for a while now. 2020 has not been kind to a lot of people, and I’m glad I have enough. I was able to buy them some hot coffee, a couple bags of donuts, and protein-heavy snacks. I’ve seen them around for at least a month now, and I don’t know when they’ve slept somewhere warm last, had a hot meal, or took a hot shower. It would be nice to offer them something along these lines(as well as extra mittens, socks, hand warmers, etc) when I see them next.

I am asking for help in raising $150 for them. With $150, I could get them a night at a mid-range hotel with continental breakfast($70), a $30 gift certificate to McDonald’s, a $25 gift certificate to Aldi(close to where I see them almost everyday), and $25 worth of mittens, hand warmers, socks, and hygiene products.

I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to sleep outside in this weather. It has been getting below freezing some nights. My plants would die if I left them out in this. 

Just a couple bucks would help get these guys  a taste of the luxuries  you and I are able to take for granted every day. Please help me help them
