<div>Last week Gianluca and I visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem with over 15O other tourists led by Ty Gibson and David Asscherick. The main tour guide on our bus was <strong>Sandro Jadon</strong>, a kind and knowledgable guide who offered a unique perspective that only an Israeli-Arab Christian could provide. During our week together Sandro, who is studying to get his Masters in Divinity, shared the challenges of being a Christian in Israel, where <strong>only 1.9%</strong> of the population share his faith. Sandro is fervent in his faith and active in his small ten-member church in Nazareth.

<div><strong>As a result of the war in Israel, he says that 80% of the country has shut down and all of his tour groups for October, and potentially beyond, have cancelled, leaving him without income during peak tourist season in Israel.</strong>
