<div>Unsere Felix-Nussbaum-Gesellschaft realisiert mit einer eigens entwickelten internationalen Wanderausstellung von Reproduktionen des Malers Felix Nussbaum unter dem Titel »Unterwegs mit Felix Nussbaum« ein auf Jahre angelegtes Projekt zur verstärkten nationalen und internationalen Präsenz der Werke dieses Künstlers.

<div>Seit 2020 ist die Ausstellung in Deutschland und Europa auf Tournee. Jetzt geht es zum ersten Mal nach Asien, Seoul. Mit der Station in Seoul wird die Ausstellung an einem Ort gezeigt, der das Thema Demokratie in den Fokus nimmt. Historisch gesehen ist das heutige Demokratie-Museum ein Ort, der für die Folterungen von Demokratisierungsaktivisten in den 1970er- und 1980er-Jahren berüchtigt ist.

<div>2018 übernahm die Stiftung »Korean Democracy Foundation«  die Verantwortung für die Verwaltung und den Betrieb des Gebäudes und ergriff die Initiative zur Gründung des »Nationalmuseums der koreanischen Demokratie«.

<div>Hier wird unsere Wanderausstellung am 27. Januar 2026 eröffnet. Der 27. Januar ist seit 1996 in Deutschland der Tag des Gedenkens an die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus und seit 2005 der Internationale Tag des Gedenkens an die Opfer des Holocaust der Vereinten Nationen.

<div>Neben meiner ehrenamtlichen Arbeit sind immer auch Fachkräfte mit dabei. Für Arbeiten vor Ort sind koreanische Partner beauftragt, die nur einen Teil der Leistungen ehrenamtlich anbieten können.
