Wanda’s Half Marathon Des Sables, Peru 2019

Wanda has just fallen asleep, which means I have a guaranteed life expectancy of about 5.5 hours
So, in respect of all the kind people who have pledged their support for Wanda in funding her flight to the 2019 Half Marathon Des Sables in Peru this month (eek ~ only 3 weeks training), here is the GoFundMe page.
As you all know, Wanda has done some amazing things (regardless of breaking her back twice) and has been given a fantastic opportunity to race on behalf of WAA Ultra Equipment. The only downside is that the airfare is expensive, even with a partial, and very kind reimbursement from WAA.
I/we know Wanda would be embarrassed to accept such a gesture but it’s the only way we can get her there, so I’ll leave it up to you guys to ‘upset’ her
I’ll donate at the end and top-up whatever is needed to reach the goal.
