Wanda's campaign for Ladies in Need Can Survive

Dear potential donors:

Ladies In  the Need Can Survive, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Over six years, Ladies In Need Can Survive, Inc. has served broken and wounded women in Memphis and Shelby County who struggled with poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse and homelessness. Some of them were ex-convicts. We’ve done a good job transitioning, strengthening, and empowering these women to succeed. But the services we provide depend on the generosity of businesses, our partners, and friends like yourself.

 In order to make a difference in the lives of the women we serve here at LINCS, we need your help. We would be most grateful if you would consider providing a one-time donation of $300 by year’s end. Your support is critical to LINCS. Your donation will cover a resident’s room and board, three nutritional meals and a snack each day, transportation, cable, Internet, phone services, personal items and wraparound services for one month.

Here’s what we provide for the women we serve: an intensive training program that is designed to break down those barriers in their lives such as a one-year housing plan, case management, anger management, parenting, life skill, job readiness, financial literacy, domestic violence prevention classes, individual and family counseling, court advocacy, food and nutrition education program (EFNEP) and Alcohol and Drug Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Again, we can’t do this without the generosity of our supporters. We’ve done so much with so little. With your $300 donation, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of these women.
