Hi my names Walter and I’m a 10 month old whippet. On Sunday the 17th of August I was running around in the back gully playing with my favourite humans. I love them so much we have so much fun playing. I was running super fast I had the Zoomies, all of a sudden I jumped and landed on a rotted tree trunk. A piece of wood went straight into my chest and through my ribs into my lung. My dad rushed me to emergency and after 5 hours of waiting and praying for not worst case scenario. We received worst case scenario a pneumothorax. Although my dad makes sure I’m safe with insurance, it doesn’t cover everything and he doesn’t usually ask for help so I’ve decided to do it for him.
