Walshy's Recovery

On Sunday 18 June 2017 whilst out on a mountain bike ride with mates, Adrian Walsh suffered a catastrophic crash. The resulting c5-c7 spinal injury has so far rendered Walshy with limited movement from the shoulders down. In a fraction of a second, the course of Walshy’s and his family’s life has changed forever.

A devoted and loving family man, Walshy is the adored husband of Nhi and father of Lily, Piper and Ryder. He is a man with a big heart, a man who embraces the beauty and richness of life, friends and family. A well-known and respected member of the WA mountain biking community, Walshy has been an elite downhill racer in WA for over 20 years and at 41 still places in the top 5, winning numerous titles including 2 Masters National Gold medals.

Walshy’s passion for living and bearded smile is as memorable as it is infectious, as all who have had the privilege of sharing a laugh or sharing a trail with him would know. Please open your heart to help Walshy and his family through the challenging times ahead.
