<div>Hi, my name is Sophia Saldivar and I am fundraising for my husband Wally’s medical bills. As a child, he had complications with his kidneys that are now functioning at less than 10% and causing him to be on dialysis nightly now for over 2.5 years. We started this season in 2024. He needs a kidney but has been denied by our local transplant center. Our next closest region is San Antonio, 250 miles (4 hours) north of us.  We found out recently he may be at a higher level of need (and higher on the priority list) in San Antonio which gives us hope. This means we will need to travel- probably a lot. Beyond our Perosnal bills and our businesses’s responsibilities, we need to cover these expenses as well. We’ve done our best to manage on our own for the last 2.5 years as dialysis began, but we need your help again. We feel closer and further than ever to a new kidney with these new non covered expenses and hope our village can help alleviate some of this stress. For those of you that have been part of our journey from the beginning (and before), thank you for your prayers, support, and encouragement.
