Raising funds for our women and children
At the Gathering Fields Retreat Centre we believe that women and children are a big part of our Communities and we are raising funds to provide funded places at our retreat centre for women ,children and families facing challenging circumstances. During these current times are seeing some families challenged on many levels with an increased disconnection from nature and each other. We hope to raise awareness in the importance to keep our families connected and provide a safe space in nature for people to come to rest and learn away from constant screen and internet connection.
For the past four years, the Gathering Fields has been offering nature-based retreats and respite in a nurturing environment. We work with many groups bringing them back to nature offering Yoga, creative therapies, mindfulness and much more. Over this time, we have mainly seen families desperately trying to hold together work, relationships and provide a grounded sense of belonging in an increasingly chaotic and fractured world.
At the Gathering Fields, our main focus is on encouraging deep and enriching connections with Nature, teaching about our Natural Environment, Wild Flowers and caring for our landscape, as people work closely with nature and together it helps bring people back into balance and gives them the resources to enable them to go back into their communities stronger and more aware.
We are also increasingly seeing the impact and strain in these current times on the magical creativity and health of our children. At the Gathering Fields, we aim to go back to our roots, bringing back the magic of Love, Sharing, Hope and Community in all that we do.
