Walking 100 miles to raise money for shelter

Here at Perrera Dogs UK we don’t just rescue we also fund a Spay Neuter Release scheme.

This SNR campaign is on top of every spay we fund per adoption with Care for Dogs Romania 

Bringing van loads of puppies is not something we support and we firmly believe the only way to make a difference to the root problem of stray dogs in Romania is SNR. We bring dogs that are old, disabled,  blind, traumatised and we find them homes. But we are under no illusion that we can rescue every dog in Romania and no other rescue can either. Not every dog even wants to be rescued - some street dogs are so feral it would be cruel to put them on a van and bring them to a domestic home.  So for those dogs we have #SNR  - SPAY NEUTER RELEASE.  This means those dogs are not reproducing twice a year and stops the cycle! 

So far this year we've imported 120 dogs and neutered another for every single one. We've also sponsored spay campaigns across Romania including this one.

At Perrera Dogs  UK we don't cherry pick fluffy puppies to "rescue". We are committed to ending the need for rescue in Romania at all.
