Walker's Special Heart

My name is Kristin and my husband Doug and I are getting ready to welcome our baby boy Walker. As you can imagine, this is a very exciting time for us. At our anatomy scan we found out that our sweet boy would have a very special heart. He was diagnosed with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare congenital heart disease. In order to provide the life saving surgeries our baby needs we were asked to relocate to the Denver area. In order to provide our baby with the best possible care and attention that we know he needs Doug and I have both left our jobs and home. Walker will need multiple surgeries after birth and we do not know how long we will have to stay. We appreciate all the love, support, and prayers we have received.
