On Sunday December 22, 2019, our friend and colleague Doug Walker fell down the stairs at home and did not survive.
Doug leaves behind a wife, Marie of 23 years and two children, Mason (age 22) and Morgan (age 18).
Doug was a loving father, devoted husband, beloved brother, cherished son and dear friend to many.
His dry sense of humor and quick wit made him a favorite in the workplace. He loved his family and friends as well as going to soccer games and watching the Seahawks with Mason. He was challenged by a physical anomaly at birth but never let this stand in his way in his personal nor professional life.
Doug’s sudden passing reminds us to hold dear our time with loved ones and to provide support in times of need. For his family, that time is now. In memory of our beloved friend and colleague, please join us in giving comfort and support to them.
We have created this page to support both the immediate and future needs of Doug’s family and all proceeds will be directed by Doug’s wife, Marie Walker. We are grateful for the generosity of any donation, prayer or message for the Walkers. Please know that his family is not making this request; rather, this request comes from his colleagues at work in an attempt to help the family. Unfortunately, his employer does not provide death benefits so there are no extra finances for funeral expenses. His wife will be responsible for the final expenses and we would like to see her and Doug’s children supported while grieving this tragic loss.
