Chi's Physical Therapy

HI, I'm Malachi Gabriel Cloud

Dad made this page for me to help bring awareness to my journey. Sometime around birth I experienced a pretty bad brain hemorrhage, which led to me being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, pretty much what that means for me is that the right side of my body is more difficult for me to control than my left side and I have to make a conscious effort to do what comes effortlessly to others.
This does mean that I can't currently walk independently, throw a ball with my right hand or verbalize a lot of my words clearly. This however does not slow me down, mom teaches me sign language to help me communicate things more clearly, dad encourages me to try things on my own, and I adapt & figure out what works best for me.
I LOVE to wrestle with my cousins, play Xbox with my uncle, dance with nanna Gem, sing with momma Ruth, take baths with dad and snuggle up with mom.

I'm very smart, always smiling, pretty independent and motivated to walk/run with my friends.

There is honestly no way that we can fully express our gratitude for all of your prayers, time and support. Malachi's Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy  surgery (jan 2016) went well. With time, intense therapy and a positive attitude we are confident that Malachi will meet his goals. The ultimate goal for Malachi is to walk. The only way to insure the highest possibility of this is through consistent, challenging intense physical therapy. In essence Chi's journey is just beginning. The scary part is over, but the hard part has just started.  Please help us give Malachi the chance at success that he deserves and donate to have him take part in one of the best therapy programs of its kind specially designed for this and similar conditions.
