<div>I didn't. With the support of family, friends and Sisters Network Triangle NC, I am a 32-year breast cancer survivor/thriver, mother and advocate.

Sisters Network Inc. is the largest national African American breast cancer survivorship organization in the United States and a leading voice in the fight against breast cancer in the African American community. Each chapter is operated by volunteer survivors. Sisters Network is committed to increasing local and national attention to the devastating impact breast cancer has in the African American community. <div>March 28 &amp; 29, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles) walk will be divided up over 2 days; in Durham (6.5 miles) and Raleigh (6.6 miles). The walk is free and open to the public to join.
