Walk to York: Fix the broken ceiling of a community hub

Donation protected
The Kayll Road Library Community Hub is a volunteer run library and space in Pallion. The library serves as a vital function and hope for many people, hosting events from various groups such as Andy's Man Club. However, at the beginning of February the ceiling inside collapsed and put it out of use. They are also having to undergo an asbestos safety check.

We want to fundraise to get this community hub back on its feet, so we have selected the hub, operated by the Pallion Action Group charity, for our fundraising walk. Starting Friday 28th February, our team will walk for 80 miles across three days from Sunderland to the city of York, stopping in Yarm and Helmsley, while crossing the North York Moors.

We want to be able to give something back to Sunderland's community and help venues like this thrive, and we believe this to be an urgent and worthy cause which will bring tangible benefits.
