Hi everyone,
We are Berti and Lynsey, serving as missionaries in Albania since April 2025. Our ministry is called 'The Way Ministry' (John 14:6). You can read a brief summary of the ministry aims in our 'About us' postcard (found in the updates section or scroll along in the cover photos).
We would love for you to join us in a fun, active and exciting challenge, raising some much needed funds to enable us to reach and help more people in Albania, with both practical and spiritual needs.
Your support will have a big impact, helping us to work towards these 3 fundraising targets:
- 1) £2600 ...to resource a full year of ‘Youth Buzz’ evangelism events in the towns and villages. These regular events create safe and fun spaces for young people to build friendships, learn new skills and hear the gospel.
- 2) £5500 ...to source and store an initial stock of mobility and therapy equipment, in order to promote independence and improve the quality of life for those impacted by illness or disability
- 3) £25,000...to equip the ministry with a suitable minivan, allowing us to reach remote villages, transport equipment and bring youth outreach and therapy support directly to the communities.
THE CHALLENGE: Walk 'The Way' to Albania
In January and February 2026, join us on a virtual journey, covering the 1411 miles from the UK to Albania. This is a virtual walkathon so no passports are needed, you can walk wherever you are! Whether its walking the dog or completing a ParkRun, your steps and donations will help to support the projects of 'The Way Ministry' in Albania.
- 1. READY: Grab your walking shoes, do some warm up stretches and feel free to share this GoFundMe page with others.
- 2. SET: Click DONATE to make your one off donation. We are grateful for any amount- every little bit really does help!

- 4) PASS THE BATON: If you would like to sponsor someone else to walk on your behalf, we will have youngsters in Albania ready to walk your steps for you. Please donate as usual and email us to say that you are 'passing the baton'.
