Walk for Water
Donation protected
Over 10 million Kenyans lack access to the basic human necessity we usually take for granted, clean water. In rural Kenya, children have to walk over 8km to fill a bucket of undrinkable water.
Unfortunately, the facts go on and on…
On the 28th of April we will Walk for Water in the 20km+ charity walkathon to symbolize the struggle Kenyans endure and hopefully raise enough funds to change and help prosper as many lives as possible.
£25 could give a child a safe, hygienic toilet at their school.
£50 could give three children access to clean drinking water at their school.
Our £6,000 target would impact over 700 children by giving them access to clean water, hygienic toilets and life changing health training.
We tend to take the things we have excess of for granted and lack of access to clean water for us in this part of the world would never cross our minds.
Unfortunately for rural Kenya, clean water is a daily worry and as human beings we believe that the basic human survival necessity is something that everyone in the world should have access to.
This is why we have decided to embark on a journey to change this... one step at a time!
