Walk for Water - Hurricane Relief

The Phi Rho Sorority and Phi Omega Phi Fraternity are hosting a Walk for Water fundraiser on October 21st for Hurricane Florence.
Our goal is to help rebuild and restore the lives of the victims of Hurricane Florence. The aftermath of the hurricane will affect the people of the Carolinas for years to come, and we can help by playing a role in bringing hope and strength to them. One of the biggest problems that these individuals will face is having access to clean drinking water because of the flooding.
Our event will consist of members from our groups filling up buckets of water from Augustana’s Slough and carrying them across campus. This walk will symbolize our efforts to bring clean uncontaminated water from Augustana to North and South Carolina. It will by no means be easy to carry this water, and we hope that through our struggle, we honor the extremely difficult and testing times that many are facing right now.
Please help us make this event a success by not only reaching our goal, but helping the victims. No donation is too little when it comes to helping out people in need! Thank you!
