Walk For The Children of Ukraine: April 15-18

Hi, my name is Alan and I'm walking 80km to raise funds to help the children of Ukraine who are suffering due to this senseless war presently raging in their homeland.

Why am I walking 80km?

Funny I have asked myself that too! But seriously it ties together many of the important things in my life.

I love to walk with my dogs and it helps both my mental and physical health- this fundraiser is to help the mental and physical health of the children in Ukraine.

Besides my family, soccer is the love of my life, and I am lucky enough to work in the soccer community in the great city of Toronto.

We have 21 youth clubs and academies in our District and the 80km will take me to each one of them- ending my walk very fittingly at the home base of USC Karpaty, our member club centred in the Ukrainian community.

My desire to do this came as I walked my dog trying hard to comprehend the bombing of a maternity hospital, and wanting to do something to help.

All money raised will be donated to the Unicef Canada Appeal to "Help Children In Ukraine".

All donations, no matter how small, are gratefully received!
