<div>In Honduras, I walked with a woman named Gisela to help fight malnutrition in children.  Gisela runs monthly nutritional clinics where she weighs and measures all children under the age of 5 in a community.  She distributes nutritional supplements to help mothers provide proper nutrition to their children.

<li>If a child shows signs of slow development, a nutritional supplement called Chispuditos is given free of charge to the mother.  She mixes the powder with water or milk to provide her child with the necessary calories, vitamins, and minerals.

<li>When a child is adequately fed, they have less risk for chronic illness and can thrive mentally, physically, and emotionally.
</li>
<li>A year's supply of nutritional packets for one child costs 500 Honduran lempiras or US $20.23
</li>
