Welcome to Colors of Awakening, previously known as 'Wake in Wave', your Podcast and Film series.

We are Genevieve and Glen.

For me, Genevieve, the journey began in 2020, emerging from the midst of a personal storm. This podcast was my lifeline, an anchor in turbulent waters.

What began in my living room in Israel has since expanded into a nomadic exploration across the Americas.

Glen and I met up in California in June of 2021, and embarked on our transcontinental journey. Since then, we've traversed vast desert plains, lush rainforests, and discovered hidden Mayan cities.

Accompanied by our furry companion, Zill, we've experienced a kaleidoscope of adventures, both planned and unexpected. Welcomed into the homes of many, strangers became friends, providing us with stories and wisdom along our way.

Over the past two years, we've listened and learned, creating connections and cherishing the true beauty of our journey. We've experienced first hand the profound healing power of nature and learnt the value of personal narratives.

Our Journey led us towards Central America and beyond the familiar. It became a transformative wave. Using our podcast and film series as our medium, we've illustrated our own healing and awakening journeys, along with those of our guests.

Day by day, our journey immerses us ever more deeply into the richness of life and spirituality.

Colors of Awakening has grown to incorporate a film series alongside the podcast, an echoing reflection of our transformative journey and the lessons learnt from our shared human experience. As we transition to our third year on the road, we carry with us a renewed sense of purpose.

Our nomadic lifestyle has ushered us into a world of ancient traditions and modern cultures. Over the past two years, Glen and I have journeyed from Washington State to Guatemala. We've documented our adventures and encounters, collected a plethora of stories and experiences, and learnt countless lessons from the open road.

We take our time with each encounter, discovering the intrinsic value of every story to the greater whole. Our conversations naturally lean towards the undisclosed, the private, and the personal, particularly during a time when our collective humanity is being challenged by a global pandemic.
