Western Maryland Distributing Co., Inc. is raising awareness and funds. We would like to provide assistance to full time restaurant/bar workers In Allegany County, Maryland.
These individuals are dependent on wages and tips to cover living expenses and provide for their families. Western Maryland Distributing is kick starting the Relief Fund with a donation of $5,000.00. We are challenging others who are able to also make a donation. The goal is to help as many people as we can. As a community, we need to pull together and show our support. Once we reach our goal, we will coordinate with City and County Officials for qualifying individuals to sign up and receive funds.
A Restaurant Board Committee will be instated to help prioritize the distribution of funds.
Also, please remember that the majority of the restaurants are still doing delivery and/or pick up! Please continue to support them!
