Waiting In the Wings returns for another live-streamed performance featuring musical theatre hits on Fri 9 April at 7:30pm. Back by popular demand, our cast of West End stars return to bring you a night at the movies, performed LIVE from the Tyne Theatre and Opera House and streamed direct to your living room.

We thank you for your ticket purchase. The profits from the ticket sales are split between the performers, other staff and the theatre. Please consider making a donation to the Tyne Theatre & Opera House Preservation Trust, who protect this unique working Victorian theatre. The pandemic has had a devastating effect on the theatre's income and before audiences can return, we rely completely on the generosity of our friends and supporters to protect our beautiful theatre.
Unfortunately, the theatre did not receive a much-needed grant to cover crucial outgoings on the 2nd round of Culture Recovery Funding.
We are looking at how this may affect the upcoming months for our Theatre and our team. In the mean time, if you'd like to support us, you can do so through donations, joining our Friends' Club or naming a seat in our auditorium via our website .
