Waheed's recovery fund

Our dear friend Waheed, suffered a brain aneurysm /stroke last Friday night . This was followed by a 6 hour brain surgery the following day at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He has recovered movement and is now fully aware of his surroundings and recognises everyone. He is unable to talk or write which frustrates him immensely especially for someone like him who loves to chat . Now starts a long recovery process and he will need support through this time .  Waheed"s best chance of recovery will require long term rehabilitation(speech therapy and physiotherapy) His wife Samina is juggling a toddler and daily hospital visits as well as being the only income earner which she  is unable to do at present It is essential for them to focus on their health without the strain of financial stressWaheed has always been such an amazing energy in all the projects we have run , it is time for us as a community to show him we care .Thank you
