Waffle’s vet bills

Last night my friend was walking little Waffle dog in Kenmore where Waffle has been a resident for many years. Unfortunately, Waffle was attacked by another dog after the owner removed its muzzle. Waffle has been my beautiful, gentle friend for sixteen and half years. The owner took off with his dog whilst my friend was trying to save Waffle’s life. Waffle was rushed to the emergency vet hospital where they have done emergency surgery on her. She is still in the care of the hospital. I won’t show photos of her injuries, but she looks like she’s been decapitated and had her head sewn back on. It’s so heartbreaking and painful to see her like this. The bills so far, are in excess of $3000 which I simply don’t have, so every bit helps, and I am truly grateful for any help I can get. I’m trying to think what I can sell, but after the burglary, there’s nothing left to sell. I have thought about this long and hard, and if I wasn’t so desperate, I wouldn’t be doing this. I find it so hard asking for help, and especially financial help. Waffle is a fighter, and still has more joy and love to give in this world.  She has already given so much joy and love to so many people around her. Regardless of whether she recovers fully, I still have the bills to pay, and have to find the money as soon as possible.
