This has been the most tragic week ever for my family.
We discovered that the ray of light in our family had a glioblastoma brain tumor. Brain surgery took place on Tuesday August 28th and there was great hope that he would pull through and heal from the surgery; however, God had bigger plans for him. My father suddenly took a turn for the worst, he fought hard and held on for dear life...
He just wasn't ready to go. A fighter right to the end. The final words I whispered in his ear were that his wife, grandchildren and children would be alright and he was finally ready to pass at 0418 on August 31st he decided it was time to go home and be with his father and many other loved ones that meant so much to our family.
We were unprepared for such a tragedy and this shocking revelation followed by his sudden loss. It has been utterly devastating.
Our family is grateful for the years we had and one day we will all walk together in the heaven's.
