Custody of my children

Dear friends,
This may very well be the most humbling act in which I’ve ever engaged: I’m in dire need of financial help for a court case in which I haven’t even yet received the official paperwork yet.
Apparently my children’s dad has filed for immediate temporary full custody of our children, and there will be a court case this coming Wednesday at 1:30 P.M.
The lawyer I used for my divorce from Doug had actually never even represented anyone in a divorce prior to mine; he was doing me a favour as a friend of a friend. This unexpected new situation is way out of his regular area of law practice, and he referred me to a lawyer specializing in family law. The lawyer is charging me a flat fee of $1250 for this court case alone; I can’t imagine how much I’ll be charged for any subsequent needs, but I’ll cross those bridges when I reach them. (I’m updating the total needed amount to reflect withdrawal fees set by gofundme. )
I rest assured that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, He remains on His throne, and HE is in control. Nothing surprises Him, and He loves my precious babies even more than I do.
