Victims of Hurricane Harvey

I am a teacher at V.W. Miller Intermediate in Pasadena, Texas.  I woke up this morning (August 27, 2017) to the news showing my students and their families being evacuated from their homes.  My family is safe and we have insurance to cover any damage our house may have, but many of my student's families are not as lucky.  These families need clothes, food, and everyday essentials.  All the money raised will be put towards Walmart and HEB gift cards and distributed to the Falcon families in most serious need. My plan is to withdrawl the money the week of September 5th. We will have community volunteers set up a table at Miller Intermediate to all families to come receive a gift card, along with clothes and supplies donated by the rest of the community and teachers. We will have a sign in sheet for families to ensure that families are not receiving more than one gift card.  Please donate anything you can to help these people rebuild their lives.  Thank you and God Bless.
