Familia Ruiz Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

Please help Gustavo and his family get together to say their last goodbyes to his father.  All funds will go towards his little sister Vanessa Ruiz's same-day passport renewal, her and their mothers round-trip airplane tickets to Guanajuato, Mexico and any funeral expenses that his mother may have to pay while they're there.
Gustavo wrote this beloved note:
"I was caught off guard yesterday when I got the call that my father had passed away. I didn't want to believe it, but how could I not when the person telling me this was my mother?
At only 48 years young, my dad lived every single day of his life to the fullest. A hard working man that never gave up, he always looked at the bright side of things even when times were tough. He was the humblest man you'd ever meet, even though he didn't have much, he wouldn't hesitate to share or help someone else out with the little that he had. There was never a dull moment with him, for those who knew him, knew that he would do anything to make everyone around him smile, laugh and happy. He had so much love for all of his family and friends, some even saw him as a second father to them. He's taught me many valuable things in life that I will forever cherish, and for that I will continue doing great things with a positive mindset like how he did. I will never forget the times we had together, from you taking me to my soccer games and cheering me on when I was little, to the very last time I hugged you at the airport in Leon, Guanajuato. Just last week we were talking and I told you that I'm finally going to college after I finish my contract, I cried when you said that you knew that I was gonna be somebody in life. You were so proud of me, and that's all I ever wanted you to be, especially the day I became a U.S Marine, you wouldn't stop bragging about it to your friends and even hung up pictures all over your room. I'm sorry that you never got a chance to actually see me in my uniform, but I promise to one day come visit you in my Blues like you would've loved. All I have now are memories, pictures, and videos of you to reminisce off, last night I kept replaying the videos you have posted just to hear your voice and see you smile again. I love and I miss you dad, I really do. Im happy that you passed away peacefully and in the ranch that you were born in, I hope to see you soon, but for now, please watch over us in heaven and guide us in the right direction. Siempre estarás a mi lado y en mi corazón.
