A Home For Grandma

Donation protected
This morning my 64yo mum's house was destroyed by an electrical fire. Mum shared her home with her best friend of over 40 years and my two nieces to whom she is the legal guardian. Mum's two dogs and two cats didn't make it out and if the fire and the loss of her home hasn't broken her heart the loss of her 4 fur babies certainly has. Mum decided to build a home for round two of parenthood so she, my brother, and some friends built this home together, with recycled materials and from scratch. Betty has been a foster mum for over 15 years too and has loved and cared for so many children throughout her life. The house was only just completed a few short weeks ago and unfortunately mum didn't get around to insuring it.  So here we are, asking for your help during a time when so many are in crisis.

Mum's church has kindly offered to pay for a motel for them for two weeks but soon they will need to rebuild and they just don't have the money to do this all over again.

I have found a kit home that we can all rebuild together but we just need some help getting the money to pay for it.

Here is the kit home with enough room for mum and her granddaughters.

Thank you so much for reading this far and for your support. If you pray, please keep mum in your prayers, and if you can't afford to donate but have a moment to share this story we would greatly appreciate that too.

You'rs sincerely,
Amy-Rose
