Our good friend, Rosie Blanco, is facing a battle with breast cancer.
It has been 6 months since Rosie started her battle with breast cancer. She weathered the chemo treatments like a champ (found out she's beautiful with or without hair, Stan you lucky dawg!). She also had some lymph nodes removed recently and the great news is that the tumor is gone and there are no signs that it has spread. We're thanking God for that. Now her medical team at Banner UMC strongly recommends she undergo radiation treatments to ensure her best chance for the cancer not returning. Unfortunately, from a financial point of view, insurance doesn't cover the full cost of radiation treatments. Their out of pocket costs will be $1650 ($50 per treatment for 33 treatments). She has to travel from Sahuarita to the treatment center on Orange Grove 5 days a week for just over 6 weeks, so she will miss some work time as well. So I'm asking you to consider helping in any way you can. Stan and Rosie are deeply grateful for the help you have already given and are extremely moved by the kindness of friends and strangers alike, as am I. Thank you!
