Background

As many of our friends and family know, my father, Thomas Lott Sr, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on May 17th, 2017. He went to the hospital to try to find out what was giving him pain on the right side of his abdomen, but instead of finding out what was causing that, he found out about the Pancreatic Cancer. The Doctor said that the cancer has probably been present in my father's body for the past 1-2 years, despite our knowing, starting back when my dad was diagnosed with diabetes.

On a positive note the Doctor did tell my father that, based on his relative healthy state, he would be a good candidate for clinical trials if he was accepted to participate in them.

On May 24th, 2017 we took him to the hospital for his biopsy to see how far along his Cancer is and the severity of it. We are trying to get ahead of this and get my father into whatever clinical trials and treatments he needs to fight his Cancer. After his biopsy results come in, we will be transfering to MD Anderson Cancer Center to figure out his possible treatment options.
