Alex's Surgery

So, today we found out that Alex had a huge mass just below his ribcage. After many ultrasounds, blood work & labs, his surgeon explained that Alex's spleen was bleeding within itself causing the mass.  The mass was so large that they could barely see his internal organs and it would need to be removed stat. 
Since Alex is in excellent health and is only 6 yrs old, his surgeon recommended doing a Splenectomy to remove the mass before it ruptures.  THIS IS URGENT
With all of the tests that were performed and including the surgery, we are looking at a bill of $6000.  With my own personal and medical difficulties the last couple of years, we are asking our family, friends and co-workers to please help us with Alex's vet bills. 
We need the funds immediately so we may bring Alex home tomorrow.
