Local youth baseball player awarded an opportunity for talent displayed during the Game Day USA All-Star Tournament.

Aiden Smith from Shelbyville, Indiana, a teammate on the Indiana Twins 10u travel baseball club, received MVP awards during 2 tournaments during their season play, which 2 of their tournaments were ran by Game Day USA.  Earning these awards automatically nominated Aiden a spot to play on the Game Day USA All-Star team at Grand Park, Westfield, Indiana, August 12-13.  Aiden represented the Indiana Twins team as an All-Star for Game Day USA, and played along with many other players from the Great Lakes Region.

During this  tournament, they competed in 2 pool play games, and tournament play.  They also competed in a homerun derby, a pitching contest, and a base running contest. Skills evaluations were completed on each player, as well as their performance during the All-Star tournament.  Game Day USA had scouts at each game evaluating player performance during the tournament.  Aiden was selected by Game Day USA Scouts, to participate in the Junior All-American Games.

Aiden is one of many who were chosen from over 3,000 All-Star participants in different regions across the USA, to receive this special invitation.  Last year, there were 600 Players from 23 different states who participated in the Junior All-American Games.

Aiden has chosen to participate in the Junior All-American Games in Sarasota, Florida, at the Baltimore Orioles Spring Training Complex.  This event will take place from November 24-26 during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.

Aiden will get to participate in a Pro-Style Combine and Evaluation, Opening Ceremonies at the stadium, Parade of Junior All-Americans, game competition, individual sport performance evaluations and skills competition. This is certain to be a memorable experience for all athletes and their families. During this event, there is a chance he could be selected to play at the Disney Games over Christmas Break.

Aiden is looking for assistance in funding for each players entry fee, as well as transportation costs, lodging costs etc....

Aiden has set a goal to raise $3000 to fully fund the opportunity for a great learning experience at such a young age.

Aiden is a tall, strong, hard throwing pitcher, as well as a strong, tall and long stretching first baseman. Aiden plans to represent the Indiana Twins 10u who ended their season as the USSSA State Champions in the Major Division, with a winning season record of 33-9.

Aiden is looking for donations as soon as possible to fulfill this opportunity.  Any help is greatly appreciated!
