My friend Richard need a new HEART.

This is for my good friend Richard. We met each other 9 years ago. It was through our kids the we met. He is a father of two wonderful girls and would do anything for them. His oldest daughter was five year old. I have 4 kids of my own. My five year old have class together with his five year old. The kids instantly click as best of friends. His family is very humble, and proud. They are very private. That's how we became good friend. Every time we have a birthday for anyone of us. That's 10 of us. We just have there family over to celebrate with us. That's was all we need and the kids have fun. Many holidays are spent together. We are more like family then friend. Now we are in a position of seeing them in a financial burden. I'm a stay home dad and my wife is a hairstylist. I wish we have the financial to help them. That's why this idea came to place. Both Richard and his wife works in the medical field to help others. Richard is diabetic. Since I know him, he always has to get his shot went his blood sugar are high. He has a cold about three weeks ago. We think nothing of it. He felt fatigued, but still make it to get together for my wife birthday. His wife has 2 jobs at two different hospitals doing two shifts. He works nights drawing blood work from people who are sick that goes to the hospital. Some patience he has to suit up and tape down all opening of his suit before entering the room to draw blood. That's his job. Now, he is in the hospital himself. He has been there a week now. They are doing all kinds of tests. He has a tube coming out of his stomach to drain the fluid. He is still in there. More testing are to be schedules. They find out one thing and another thing comes up. Here where this comes in. His wife through all this has to take time off from work to be next to him. We try to help out by watching his kids. Praying for his recovery. I don't know how much its going to cost. But, he has been there a week and expect to stay there longer.
