CHEER for New Uniforms!!

**Update: After pricing the uniforms with embroidery (the school name) we have raised our cost! We are so close to ordering, so help us out with anything you can! At out last practice, we told the girls about it and they were SO excited. They cannot wait!!

The cheerleaders at Dulles School of Excellence truly embody the the qualities of a good team. They are hard working, spirited, dedicated and passionate. With our own funds and a small team fee, we have purchased the girls skirts, tee shirts, socks and hair bows. The girls were so grateful and feel proud to have them. 

This year we would like to enter the girls into a competition. To be able to compete with other teams we would need real uniforms. It would make the girls look unified and spirited. Not to mention how good the girls would feel wearing them!

The students at Dulles School of Excellence are 100% low income students and unfortunately do not have the money to go out and purchase items needed for the team. Your donation would help out girls dreams of having new uniforms come true!

Dulles School of Excellence is a turnaround school. This means, in the past Dulles was one of the lowest performing schools in the state. However, with new staff, a new discipline policy, and a complete change in the climate, culture and curriculum at the school test scores are rising and the school is showing true success. This has taken hard work not just from the teachers, but from the students as well. School to them used to be a place where they were able to act out without consequences, play around and not learn. They LOVE the new atmosphere at the school. Many of them don\'t want to leave at the end of the day.

Cheerleading is one activity that they look forward to doing after school. It helps them build confidence, learn the meaning of hard work and apply problem solving skills in an athletic setting.


We appreciate any amount that you are able to give and look forward to the day when we can send pictures of the girls wearing their new uniforms with the name of their school on the front!
